Jeff Kahn
1. Tell us about your background: I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I have 20+ years’ experience in carpentry, handyman work and remodeling. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, spending time with my family, and doing home improvement work on my own home.
2. What is your role at Chesapeake Property Management? I am the handyman for Dependable Handyman Services, which offers cost efficient repair services for our owners. My role is to handle home improvement repairs in our properties and troubleshoot problems ranging from a tripped GFI outlet, a fireplace that won’t light, or assessing minor appliance or plumbing issues. By troubleshooting and assessing problems, I can help save an outside vendor a visit, or narrow down the problem so an outside vendor can save time and money on their visits.
3. What do you enjoy about your job the most? I enjoy building relationships with owners and residents. I also enjoy the satisfaction of problem solving and repairing issues so that our residents can have an enjoyable leasing experience.
