- Tell us about your background: I grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania and went to college in Boston to study American Sign Language. After college, I worked in the veterinary field where I gained administrative experience involving invoicing and payment processing. I moved to Maryland in 2015 to be closer to family.
- What is your role at Chesapeake Property Management? I am the Office Manager. I work with new owners and new residents to set up the foundation for a pleasant and professional leasing experience. I make sure all of our clients and properties are compliant with local and state laws as well as the leasing terms. I manage financials and ensure our owners and vendors all get paid in a timely manner. I also manage our affiliate company, Dependable Handyman Services, which provides repair services that are cost efficient for our owners.
- What do you enjoy about your job the most? I enjoy working on tasks that require attention to detail and reduce risk. The variety of job functions I perform keeps me on my toes and every day is interesting. In addition to the variety of tasks I perform, I also get to interact with a variety of people and enjoy working to provide a positive leasing experience and give each individual the time they deserve.
