Every Sunday from April 8th 2018-December 23rd 2018 you can visit the Baltimore Farmers’ Market and Bazaar underneath the Jones Falls Expressway.
Last Sunday, I ventured out to opening day hoping to experience all that the market had to offer.
The market was packed, despite the colder than average weather for the first weekend in April. Customers perused the seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs from local farmers.
Others gathered around a group of musicians to enjoy live music while grasping their cups of Zeke’s coffee.
As I circled through the crowd I watched lines form around vendors serving up fresh food.
There were also many local artists featuring their work on display for potential customers.
The sense of excitement and community was fantastic. I know I will be back again soon!
